These costs are flanked on the north by a succession of mountains that protect them from cold winds , and there are many short rivers that lead us to cross . Numerous quality hotel facilities and developments have left very interesting pieces of history and nature that have costasoleña to get to know.

    Day 2.Estepona - Puerto Banus 18km.

This first stage of our journey through the Sea Trail runs through different coastal landscapes , but always with the Strait of Gibraltar as a backdrop to the west. The beaches we visited on this day are made of small rocks , each of which the sea was responsible for giving a beautiful and unique way . We certainly surprised the survival of enclaves of historical and environmental value exclusive residential areas . We will have the opportunity to visit Roman baths and an early Christian basilica around Poplar Brook.

    Day 3.Puerto Banus - Marbella 9km.

Puerto Banus, is without a doubt the most luxurious port, despite not being the biggest one of the Costa del Sol, where there are large private yachts in the harbour, which indicates that the area that we are walking toward is the one that many have chosen to spend their holidays. 6 kilometers in, we will be entering Marbella, the luxurious city of the Costa del Sol, we will have time today to pass through its old town, a wonderful white village, and without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful places in Andalucía. A recommended visit could be the Roman Villa of Rio Verde.

    Day 4.Marbella - Artola Dunes 18km.

After breakfast we will have a nice trip in a catamarán in this part of the sea Alborán, a unique opportunity to contemplate the coastal path from Alta Mar.
As we leave Marbella, we will continue this journey of experiences and sensations. Today, the beaches become more spacious and natural, sometimes due to the sand of the sea and other times due to the wooden walkways that make it more comfortable and attractive.
Areas of small sand dunes with rare species of plants and some species of seagulls today, will make this a trip to remember.

    Day 5.Artola Dunes - Fuengirola 17km

The dunes of Artola, is a natural protected area, as it´s in an excellent state of conservation, surprises the traveller due to its location, in the heart of the Costa del Sol and is surrounded by great luxurious mansions. Shortly after we arrive at the Cabo Pino Marina, which is small but very charming, from this point we will enter Mijas – which is excellently cared for, and for a large part of the tour there are wooden walkways.
Soon we will arrive at the promenade of Fuengirola and see its excellent beaches, near our Hotel.
Very close, the mouth of Fuengirola river with its leisure equipment and the imposing medieval castle of Sohail.

    Day 6.Fuengirola - Benalmadena 15km.

After our well-deserved rest, it is time to continue our journey. Fuengirola is the town of Málaga with the best quality beaches, there are countless restaurants and beach bars, in this trip we will stop off to enjoy a beer or some other cold drink. As we leave Fuengirola, the coves become smaller and the steps from one to the other become more narrow and beautiful, and as our pace slows down, we can enjoy the marine views as much as possible.
We will arrive at Benalmádena city, a perfect spot for our holiday, due to its excellent entertainment.

    Day 7.Benalmadena - Málaga 14km.

We arrive in Benalmádena and we will pass by the sporty Marina, if everything we have seen until now has amazed us, this port will also amaze us, as we were in Puerto Banus, on the Maritime excursion which will allow us to see "THE PATH OF THE SEA" after the ride, we will begin to walk around on the last stage of our journey. From Periana we will take a dirt road with little traffic, in the twentieth century this was the old railway line linking the region of Zafarraya, Granada area of high agricultural production. After several km we reached the highest point of the route today, near the village of Guaro with a much smoother profile. We will walk West along the South side of the limestone arch in its central part, before us are beautiful landscapes dotted with trees growing in areas in perfect harmony with nature. Today our resting place is a carefully restored old mill, with friendly people, which adds value to this idyllic place.

After the excellent breakfast offered by this nice family we are ready to undertake the biggest stage route of this trip. We continue for a while walking among olive, almond and some other trees that are grown in this area. First we will go to Alfarnatejo, without realizing landscapes are changing suddenly, they are much greener and we are now surrounded by mountains. In Alfarnatejo we will have the chance to enjoy a good lunch based on typical cooking in the Axarquía. Only four km separate us from Alfarnate, the destination of our day, a small village North of the Axarquia. It's time to settle into our accommodation and rest.
